Lunatic Asylum

Happy reading?

*~*~*~*~*

A thousand needles
Slowly prick the skin
Drawing drops of blood
That are collected
In crystal goblets
The Marquis cometh
Laughs and drinks his fill
His servant draws near
Licks the excess from
The cold dungeon floor
An evil grin shows
Pointed teeth appear
The last drops of life
Slowly drain away.

I am... amazed. Blogger has a new lay-out. And I've updated this blog.

Yipee.

Nothing much to say, 'xcept that I'm probably going to re-do my online journals/blogs when I have the time. Christmas break, perhaps. I can't do this during my so-called 'sem break', seeing that it's technically only a one-day vacation (school has the humor to include national holidays and weekends in sem breaks, kami!) and there are other various concerns... *sighs*

I'm taking another collage entrance exam this Sunday. Finally, after that's done there's only the USTET to 'worry' about. Frankly, the only thing to fuss about is the transportation - both exams are scheduled for the afternoon, and traffic will be hell by the time it's over. Add to that that both days are Sundays and that I will probably get a major headache after reading through all those paragraphs... whoopie-do.

Speaking of exams, I just finished my 2nd quarter tests earlier. The final exam? Physics.... -_-;;; I am so glad that there were only two major word problems. I think I also screwed up the second word problem, as I've managed to do two or three solutions for finding the distance of the point of maximum velocity from the ground... ^_^;
Another thing that I've managed to forget is Newton's third law of motion. That didn't bode well for me - although I knew the formula, I had to explain the law and give it's application. I somehow managed to scrape through.
I have a feeling that I'm going to get low on that particular portion.

And... yeah, have to cut this post short. My attention, you see, is divided (as ususal) between several websites. So if you'll excuse me...

It's still summer.

It's still summer. It's the middle of the summer vacation. Near right smack at the damned middle. It's way too fast. Then again, I doubt that Time would stop for anybody.

Life has been strange these past few days. I'm being reminded (again) of my... mathematical liabilities. And I will be reminded of my Filipino ones, too, when the session gets there. *sighs* Thank whoever that it'll mostly be Geometry if I take up Computer Science or Computer Engineering... at least, according to my dad. Oh, well.

* * *

Home is chaotic. I get restless in it. Worse still, the energy reaches me at the gate.

The space is getting crowded; not by inanimate objects but by (woe of woes) people. Humans. Live, breathing relatives. I have tendancies to stay far away from relatives, even first degree ones. I damn hate the fact that I'm leeching off them (even if my corrupted side takes over during monetary shortages and sometimes exhorts people's cash...). Unfortunately, it can't be helped at the moment. Hell...

Yeah. Summer vacation. And what am I doing? Surfing the net. While thinking of the Journ project that's due on Wednesday.

But before that... ne, click on this (it's clickable!!!!)-->
An Honest Evaluation of Philippine Culture

It's a really interesting website... Yeah. Touches on several sore spots concerning Philippine society.

+ + +

The collage entrance examinations are nearing. The signs of the approach are near, from the review classes to the collage course search.

Speaking of courses, I have decided on the top three courses that I am going to take up. And these are:

1. Computer Engineering
2. Psychology
3. Computer Science

Well. It seems that I have to get a good score in math.... ^_^;

As usual, the days passed by quickly. Christmas break's over, school's back tomorrow. It's rather annoying...

The sun set greets the sight of me sitting in front of the computer, concentration shifting from several Internet Explorer windows and a catelogue of none other than the Noble Collection's LOTR Collector's Store. The items in it were enough to make me strangle some one...

First off, the M.E. jewelry. Brooches of the Fellowship (the ones from Lothlorien), Galadriel, Mithrandir, Arwen). Necklaces of Arwen (the one from FotR), Eowyn, and something like 'the Elven necklace'. Then there's the One Ring (that's to be expected), the headdresses of Arwen and Elrond (I love Elrond's headdress!), and... THE THREE ELVEN RINGS!!! Now that I've forgotten their names... *flips through her reference material* Aha! Vilya, Nenya, and Narya! Guarded by Elrond, Galadriel and Mithrandir (passed to him by Cirdan), respectively.

Then there's that lovely detailed chess set...

Followed by goblets, several items, a candle holder designed like the top of Mithrandir's staff, a keychain...

...and the stuff that we've all been waiting for. Mithrandir's staff, carved _exactly_ like the prop in the movie, Sting, Glamdring, Gimli's axe, Narsil, and Hadhafang, Arwen's sword! (I have yet to translate the name... -_-;;)

Annoyingly nice merchendise......

Mou! -_-#

Ah! Finally, Christmas break! And, no, this blog isn't dead Ria. It's the undead.

And a few quizzes... (my quiz blog is now useless)

Which Yuugiou Character's Issue are you?

A Kokoro No Naka quiz by Judy

Yami Bakura's 'problem' was also interesting... *grins evilly and shows sharp, pointy teeth*

Which Millenium Item are you?

A Kokoro No Naka quiz by Judy

...'poratable entertainment'?

Which Egyptian Yuugiou Character are you?

A Kokoro No Naka quiz by Judy

...hard to read the text, but it's somewhat managable.
